If we were having coffee..

If we were having coffee, I’d  tell you all about my first half of 2016.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how happy I am I started blogging again. I’d tell you how excited I am and how it keeps my creativity sharp. How it keeps me writing and how it’s helping me to meet new, amazing people in the blogging community.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about all the things I learned in my last two internships. I’d tell you about graduating college and about how I’m not ready to jump into the ‘real world’ yet.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about my worries and fears. About how I struggle with a lot of things because I’m scared all the time, and that I don’t know how normal that is. But I would also tell you that my fears are getting better instead of worse. That in these first six months of 2016, I did a lot of things I didn’t know I could do. I went to new places and met new people, I accomplished a lot of things I’m proud of.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about how much I’ve grown as a person.

You would probably smile, sip your cappuccino and tell me that you’re happy for me. And I would be grateful having someone like you in my life to talk to.

If we were having coffee, I would ask about you. What have you been up to? How is your mom? Do you still work for the same company? How are you really doing?

If we were having coffee, we would have a good time.

  1. The drink is colored orngde-rea, not as bold in color Mountain Dew Code Red. Upon opening, the scent resembles that of a Tropical Punch-type of Dew, somewhat like the limited run Mountain Dew Typhoon.

  2. Reading this makes me wish I could actually sit down and have a coffee with you. I’m also starting grad school (in 1 day…oh my gosh) and I have so many fears and worries. But with that in mind, 2016 has also been a year for personal growth and I can really relate to what you’ve written here. Thanks for sharing! Wonderful post!

  3. I’m so glad you are getting your fears under control. Life can be overwhelming! I’m a survivor, so I know a lot about that. Ha! I can see where yoga would rock your world! For some reason, concentrating on your breath once or twice a week, helps in handling stress. Don’t ask me why, but it works!
