Born and raised in a loud, busy city, visiting the country is like a breath of fresh air.
No dogs barking, people yelling or cars honking. You can actually hear the birds sing and the wind blow.
Nicholas and I like to just drive around the country and breathe in the fresh air. We usually grab some coffee and look at the clouds, birds and shadows. I value those moments more than anything.
When I surround myself with silence and nature, it’s like I can finally think. I can finally let go of anxiety and tension. It’s like nothing matters but this, even if it’s just for a couple of minutes, and that’s amazing.
